About the Speaker

Michelle Quale, RNC, MSN, CNM, has been practicing in the area of obstetrical nursing for 15 years. In her role as a Certified Nurse Midwife at a women's health clinic, she provides care for patients facing a variety of obstetrical challenges from low- to high-risk situations. Her prior obstetrical experiences include working as a labor/delivery and nursery nurse, nurse coordinator, childbirth educator, and fetal monitor instructor. In addition to her active clinical practice, Michelle serves as faculty at Minnesota State

University and an adjunct faculty member at the University of Minnesota, teaching undergraduate and graduate nursing students in the area of obstetrical nursing. Michelle holds certification by and is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives. She is an allied member of American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist. She also holds certifications in in-patient obstetrics and electronic fetal monitoring.

Objectives
