Pain Management 101 for the Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) caregiver is a must attend webinar. These frontline caregivers are usually the first to recognize when a patient is in pain. “Pain” is now known as the 5th vital sign, and must be assessed when the BP and TPR is measured.

About the Speaker

Virginia Ann Peterson, LPN, is a Nursing Assistant Instructor in Metro Atlanta. She is a certified CPR Instructor with the American Safety & Health Institute. Ms. Peterson has 35 years of experience and presents a wealth of knowledge and expertise in her field. She specializes in hospice care and end-of-life training for nursing assistants. Ms. Peterson’s nursing experience also includes staff development, nurse preceptor, clinical management, consultant, and community educator.
