HEATHER (TONYA) ANDERSON, PHD, MSN, RN, FNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, CNE

Tonya Anderson, PhD, MSN, RN, FNP-BC, AGACNP, CNE, is a clinical assistant professor and program coordinator of both the FNP and AGACNP programs at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is double board certified as both an FNP and AGACNP and continues to maintain an active practice as a nurse practitioner. Her post baccalaureate educational background includes a PhD in nursing, a Master’s degree in nursing education, and two post-master’s certificates. Dr. Anderson brings over two decades of nursing education experience. Additionally, she is nationally recognized as a certified nurse educator. Under Dr. Anderson’s leadership, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte has achieved a 100% pass rate for both the FNP and AGACNP programs for five consecutive years. In this course, Dr. Anderson looks forward to sharing her passion by helping new nurse practitioner students successfully pass their FNP certification exam the very first time…strengthening your knowledge and preparing you for any practice setting.
